5 Year Bakery Celebrations!
5 Year Bakery Celebrations!
Our Mill + Bakery turns 5 this year! It’s Commercial Street’s 5th birthday later this month and you’re invited! Come celebrate with us.
We’re marking 5 years of Vistabright Mill + Bakery with 5 days of celebrations at the end of August and we’d love for you to join us!
Visit us in-store from Thursday, August 29th to Monday, September 2nd for limited edition merch, specially created pastries, bread, and lots more. Our team has been busy creating delicious treats we’ve never offered before. Plus, we’ve created a special limited edition piece of merch you’ll want to make sure to snag!
We opened our doors on Commercial Street on Friday, August 30th, 2019, so we’re throwing an extra special pizza party on our 5th birthday from 5-9pm. We will have lots of dough Friday night so mark your calendars!
Join us any day that weekend to take part in this important milestone with us. We’re so grateful to have 5 wonderful years to celebrate with you. You are what makes it all possible!
To get the party started, follow our Instagram for the next few weeks to see what we’ve got planned. We’re starting here with a pizza giveaway for 5 people! Enter here.
Stay tuned for more. See you there!

Tracing Grains with Canadian Bakery and Mill Vistabright | A feature with TOAST
Tracing Grains with Canadian Bakery and Mill Vistabright
Last month, our co-founders Janna and Shira enjoyed a conversation with Mina Holland, for a feature with English clothing label TOAST.
“We looked for farmers who could grow to our specifications, were prepared to be transparent about their processes and who would sell us small quantities, which is not how Canadian farms are conventionally set up.” ~ an excerpt from their chat over Zoom, where Janna discusses the process of setting up our farmer relationships.
Head here to read the interview, for a little leisurely reading on this holiday Monday here in Canada.
